Top Cosmetic Dentists Invited to Speak to Dental Association
OXNARD, CA (PRWEB) May 21, 2014 -- Prosthodontists Saj Jivraj and Mamaly Reshad recently accepted an invitation to speak at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Jivraj and Dr. Reshad are partners in the Anacapa Dental Art Institute in Oxnard and Woodland Hills, Calif.
The meeting the of American Academy of Restorative Dentistry is scheduled for Feb. 22-23 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Chicago, Ill.
“This is one of the most eminent academies in the world, and the who's who of dentistry is there,” Dr. Jivraj said.
Dr. Reshad’s presentation is “Resective vs. Preservative Approach in Full Mouth Implant Restorative Therapy” and Dr. Jivraj’s topic is “The Role of CADCAM in Full Mouth Implant Restorative Dentistry.”
Dr. Reshad and Dr. Jivraj are national and international speakers on dental implants. They train and speak regularly on procedures such as All on 4 dental implants and Teeth in a Day.
Dr. Jivraj returned last month went to India to speak about full mouth restoration. It was his third presentation in India in recent months, and also he was one of the main speakers at the Indian Society of Oral Implantologists conference in Mumbai.
Dr. Jivraj also spoke during the 29th annual meeting of the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Jivraj and Dr. Reshad gave a two-day training last month on Teeth in a Day in Yorba Linda, Calif, at Nobel Biocare’s facility. Dr. Reshad also gave a one and a half day course recently on full-mouth implant reconstructions in the Southern California area.
Internationally, Dr. Reshad has spoken to both the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists in London, where he has an office, and the French Dental Association in Paris since November.
Reshad recently accepted an invitation to speak to the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics (CARDP) annual Scientific Meeting in September.
As prosthodontists, Dr. Reshad and Dr. Jivraj are trained in advanced techniques in implants, aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, and both are former chairmen of the University of Southern California’s School of Dentistry Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry section.
Dr. Jivraj co-wrote the internationally recognized textbook “Treatment Planning in Implant Dentistry.” He is a member of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry’s editorial board; an associate clinical editor for Dental Teamwork magazine; and an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Dr. Jivraj serves on the faculty at the USC School of Dentistry as an associate clinical professor; a clinical teacher at the Eastman Dental Institute in London; and British Academy of Restorative Dentistry’s board of directors.
Numerous peer-reviewed journals and textbooks have published Dr. Reshad’s writing on various topics related to prosthodontics, aesthetics and dental implants. He is on the highly prestigious Journal of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry’s editorial board; is an honorary clinical teacher at the Eastman Dental Institute; and is a faculty member of the Global Institute for Dental Education.
