Top Periodontist Presents Annual Lecture For Dental Hygiene Students
Miami, FL (PRWEB) September 16, 2016 -- Gallardo and Lamas Periodontics and Implant Dentistry is proud to share that practice founder, John Paul Gallardo, D.D.S., P.A., will be presenting an upcoming lecture at the Miami Dade College-Medical Campus. His annual lecture is a valuable part of the core instruction for the college’s 2nd year dental hygiene students.
The Dental Hygiene Program, at Miami Dade College Medical Campus, prepares students from a variety of backgrounds to become vital members of the oral care team. Dr. Gallardo will be speaking to the 2nd year dental hygiene students during their Periodontology 2 lecture course. He will review periodontal regenerative procedures, including information on current trends and innovative technologies available today. This will make the 7th year that Dr. Gallardo has participated in a lecture with Miami Dade College.
The periodontists at Gallardo & Lamas Periodontics and Implant Dentistry play an active role in dental education in south Florida. Both Dr. Gallardo and his partner, William Lamas, D.M.D., M.S., routinely lecture and provide mentorship for all dental students. Additionally, the practice hosts various continuing education study groups for dental professionals.

Dr. Gallardo graduated from the University of Miami; with advanced degrees from New York University and Boston University. Dr. Lamas attended Barry University, the Florida College of Dentistry and Baylor College of Dentistry-TAMUS. Dr. Gallardo and Dr. Lamas specialize in a variety of procedures, including the innovative All-on-4 dental implants, gum treatments, oral surgery and cosmetic techniques.
