Top Real Estate Agent Patrick Chauvin Moves to Compass
Washington, DC (PRWEB) August 08, 2016 -- Patrick Chauvin, a top luxury real estate agent in Washington D.C., has moved to technology-driven real estate platform Compass as a Senior Vice President along with business associate Brad House. Formerly a founding agent of Washington Fine Properties, Chauvin has over 25 years of experience in real estate and has set records throughout his career, most notably the sale of one of the Washington D.C. area’s most expensive listings--a $25 million home in Georgetown.
Chauvin’s career and clientele has been nothing short of presidential. In 2001, he assisted President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton in their final days in the White House, as well as many other presidential appointees, heads of state, and several celebrities. He has been honored many years in a row by the Wall Street Journal Real Trends List as one of the top agents in the nation.
“I’m so thankful for all the lessons I’ve learned over the last 25 years in the real estate industry,” Patrick Chauvin said. “This new chapter in my career as well as my team’s growth is incredibly exciting, and we can’t wait to build an even stronger business and new brand, Chauvin-House, in conjunction with Compass.”
Before real estate, Chauvin lived in New York City and was tasked with the launch of the United States’ first boutique hotel chain created by Morgans Hotel Group, former owners of Studio 54. After several years in the hospitality industry, Patrick moved to Washington, DC, where he and his business partner ran the local affiliate of Sotheby's International Realty in the DC area until it was sold in 2000.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Patrick and his team to the Compass family,” said Robert Reffkin, CEO of Compass. “Patrick is a consummate professional and a lead influencer in luxury real estate within the DC market, and we couldn’t be prouder to have him on the team.”
Aside from his real estate endeavors, Chauvin is a charitable member of the D.C. community as a Kennedy Center board member as well as a board member for the non-profit Fair Chance Home.
With approximately 150 agents, Compass is the #4 brokerage in Washington DC, and currently operates four offices across the metro area, including a newly-opened regional headquarters in Logan Circle. Nationwide, Compass has 22 offices with more than 1,000 top agents and staff members.
