Toronto-area Warehouse Exec Represents Canada on IWLA Board of Directors
Des Plaines, IL (PRWEB) July 08, 2016 -- Members of the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA), the resource for warehouse logistics, recently elected D. Robert Dineen, CWLP, president and CEO of Dominion Warehousing & Distribution Services Ltd., based in Toronto, Ontario, to a three-year term on the IWLA Board of Directors. Dineen’s position was formally announced during the recent IWLA Annual Business Meeting.
Dineen has more 25 years of senior management experience in the logistics industry. In 1990, he founded Dominion Warehousing & Distribution Services Ltd., a third-party warehouse logistics service provider located in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver.
He is an industry leader: Dineen served as chairman of the Ontario region of the Canadian Association of Warehousing and Distribution Services in the late 1990s and as an IWLA director in 1999. He has been an active member of the IWLA Canadian Council and was instrumental in reactivating the IWLA Chemical Council in 2012. Dineen now serves as board liaison to the IWLA Canadian Council.
“Bob has represented and participated actively in the Canadian Council since both associations came together as the International Warehouse Logistics Association in the late 1990s,” says IWLA President & CEO Steve DeHaan. “He remains focused on bring growth to the Canadian membership as well as ensuring that all Canadian members are well-represented in IWLA programs, services, and events.”
Dineen is married to his high school sweetheart Jill. They have two children, Jennifer and Kathryn, and reside in Guelph, Ontario.
