Total Network Monitor 2 Receives a Major Overhaul
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) October 08, 2015 -- In its first major update, Total Network Monitor 2 was given a complete overhaul, receiving a new high-performance engine, a redesigned user interface, and full documentation. The new engine brings smoother multi-threaded performance and higher stability, while putting less load on network resources during monitoring. The revamped user interface is built to the latest usability standards, offering a graphical view of the network being monitored. The new reporting engine now includes essential information without the clutter of non-informative entries.
Minor improvements include HTTPS monitoring support, support for Web pages encoded in UTF-8, the ability to check for a certain file on a remote server, and the ability to handle HTTP redirections the same way as a Web browser. FTP monitoring is now available on custom ports. Administrators can now specify more than one email address to receive network alerts.
