(PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- Toyota of Boerne is proud to announce the return of the successful Turkeys for Troops event on November 21st. Military personnel and their family will have the opportunity to receive a free turkey courtesy of Toyota of Boerne, Walmart and iHeartMedia. 3,000 turkeys will be given away to military households on the Friday before Thanksgiving at the dealership.
In addition, through the Military Warrior Support Foundation (MWSF), a nonprofit organization in San Antonio, a 100 percent mortgage free house will be given to a wounded veteran and their family between 1:30pm and 2:30pm on Friday, November 21st during the 4th Annual Turkeys for Troops. “We’ve joined together in an effort to give thanks and show our support and appreciation for all of the hard work and dedication American troops provide for us,” said Vic Vaughan, owner of Toyota of Boerne.
Military families are invited to participate in Turkeys for Troops at Toyota of Boerne on Friday, November 21st from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is a limit of one per household and you must have a military ID to receive the free turkey. Toyota of Boerne is expecting a large turnout and encourages everyone to arrive early to receive one of the 3,000 turkeys.
“This is just a small gesture of thanks from our family at Toyota of Boerne. We want this year to be the biggest event yet,” said Vaughan. “We hope that the public comes out to join us in our efforts to thank the troops. We enjoy holding this event annually because we are proud to support our troops in their constant endeavors to preserve our freedoms that we so often take for granted. Toyota of Boerne is a family owned and operated business, and this is simply our family giving thanks to all the brave men and women in uniform.”
