Toyota to debut all-new 2019 Corolla Hatchback next week!
LEXINGTON, Mass., Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Toyota is debuting not one, but two models at the 2018 Geneva motor show next week. The first, which was announced Monday, is the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, which is being presented alongside a Supra race car concept. Toyota revealed that the new 12th-generation Hatchback is being developed alongside the 2019 Corolla Sedan, which will be revealed sometime later in the year.
Not much is known about the vehicle itself, and the only pictures released for it didn't reveal many details about the new Hatchback's design. Toyota did confirm, however, that the European model will arrive with a new 2.0-Liter Inline-4 engine with a hybrid system. Toyota also stated that this engine will have many of the same features and technologies found in the Prius' 2.0-liter engine's hybrid.
It is unclear, however, if this engine option will be confined solely to Europe or if the rest of the world will also have the same engine. As of this point, up until March 6, there is only speculation and limited information to run on. The conference will take place on March 6, at the Geneva Motor Show, where Toyota will also release the long-term strategy of their brand going forward.
