TRA Continues Leadership in Safety Management Software with IndustrySafe Safety Software Release 5.6
(PRWEB) July 22, 2015 -- TRA is pleased to announce the release of Version 5.6 of its IndustrySafe Safety Management Software. IndustrySafe Software provides organizations with web-based safety data management tools including key safety performance metrics, incident and OSHA recordkeeping, inspections, training tracking, hazards, behavioral based safety, and more.
"The trend in safety software is to create user-friendly applications that can be easily customized to best meet a company’s needs,” TRA’s Senior Product Manager, Gabriel Tompkins, explains. “With this in mind, as part of our 5.6 Release, we’ve developed a new Form Editor which grants IndustrySafe System Administrators even more flexibility when configuring Hazard and Corrective Action recording forms,” he continues.
Using IndustrySafe’s new Form Editor, administrators can now drag and drop fields and sections to put them in any desired order throughout the Hazard and Corrective Action recording forms. Fields and sections can also be placed in a two-column layout to help reduce the length of forms.
The Form Editor offers a variety of other features that administrators may leverage to customize the Hazard and Corrective Action recording forms. For example, fields and sections can be renamed to better suit an organization’s terminology, and System Administrators can even add their own custom tooltips to fields containing special instructions for end users or hyperlinks to additional resources.
For a more seamless editing experience, the Form Editor also contains an AutoSave function so that any changes that System Administrators make to the Hazard and Corrective Action forms are saved automatically. Users can easily roll back a mistaken change with a single click of the “Undo” button. Once an administrator is satisfied with their changes, they can click the “Publish” button to apply their edits to the form.
“We’re very excited to announce the release of the Form Editor,” states TRA Vice President, Clare Epstein. “We believe that its intuitive and expansive configuration options will help our clients to better tailor the software to their business needs so that IndustrySafe becomes an indispensable component of their safety programs,” she adds.
IndustrySafe’s 5.6 Release also includes enhancements to IndustrySafe’s new incident email alerts. System Administrators are now able to configure up to six alerts for new incidents, in addition to the standard alerts for employee injuries and OSHA recordable incidents.
Administrators have also been given more options to choose from when configuring new incident alert triggers. For example, System Administrators can set triggers so that email alerts are sent out when specific types of workers are involved in an incident, when a specific type of incident occurs, when an incident occurs in a specific location, and more.
