Trade Union Turns to Click4Assistance Live Chat Software for Member Communication

The PCS, which boasts over 240,000 union members, has installed Click4Assistance live chat software to ensure it could meet its communication needs.
The union, which represents the UK civil service and held its annual conference earlier this month, handles over 300 messages a day, which before the live chat support installation, could take several days to resolve even the smallest membership issue.
Andrew Simpson, Head of ITT and Membership at the PCS says the web chat software has helped improve member support and reduced turnaround time.

Simpson adds that as a democratic organisation, run by members for members, communication is at the heart of the company’s mission, and the live chat software has allowed staff in his department to focus on other tasks but still maintain a high standard of customer service.
