Trademark approved for mygooi™ tag line
DES MOINES, Iowa (PRWEB) February 08, 2015 -- The U.S Trademark and Patent Office has told mygooi it will publish “We’d hate to ruin the party” as a trademark for the company in the Trademark Official Gazette on Feb. 24, the company announced.
“This tagline expresses our attitude toward the companies and individuals we look to work with,” said Paul N. Greenwood, mygooi chairman and CEO. “We’ve seen it over and over: creative people develop their best ideas in a disruptive and fun environment – a gooi environment.”
He noted that start-ups develop their own customs, from dress codes to afternoon pizza runs, and ideas flow freely. “It’s a party of sorts, and when serious money comes in, it can set up structures that can stifle just what that money wants,” he said. “Fresh, inventive, creative ideas are a party we value, not one we want to stop.”
This goes for the most gooi of topics to the most serious: from gooisocial, to gooihealth and gooisafety, to software development. “Each partner has its own ‘party,’” Greenwood said, “and we’d hate to ruin it. We want to grow the gooiness.”
