Trafford Publishing Releases Schedule of Complimentary Book Signings at the 2013 AARP Life@50+ Event in Atlanta
Atlanta (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- Trafford Publishing, the leading self-publishing imprint and marketing services provider for authors around the globe, has released its schedule of free indie author signings at the AARP 2013 Spring Life@50+ National Event & Expo being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta this October 3-5.
In booth 1915, on Friday, October 4th, from 1:00-2:00 PM, LaVera Edick will be signing complimentary copies of her book, Four Score and More, while supplies last. Four Score and More is Edick’s story of growing up on a farm and following the oft-times bumpy road of life. It is the story of my family and ancestors, those pioneers who cut the trails and paved the roads for our journey through life. Several major events helped shape the lives and attitudes of those born before 1940. It was a struggle raising a family in the thirties: not only was the nation in a financial crisis, Mother Nature was in an ugly mood. There was a shortage of money but an abundance of love and family togetherness. A product of hardy pioneer stock, at an early age, Edick gained satisfaction from a hard day’s work well done. From managing a trucking business and selling brushes, she became the first lady of an insurance company and pursued her dreams of becoming an artist.
On Friday, October 4th, from 2:00-3:00 PM in booth 1915, Pamela F. Jones Gatewood will be signing complimentary copies of her fiction title, Norphoria Jones, a.k.a. NO. This story follows Norphoria Jones, known as NO, Jasmine Getty, aka Lil mama, and Patsy Pollet, aka Joker. These three have been best friends since the 5th grade and are known as “the trio.” It’s now their senior year and they’re all looking forward to graduation. When Teka Watts moves back to town, she concocts a sneaky and deceptive plan to become one of the trio unfolding lies left and right. Once Norphoria finds out Teka’s intentions, Teka finds out what it’s like to be on Norphoria’s bad side; she has no idea of the monster she has unleashed upon herself.
Trafford Publishing will have staff members on hand to answer any questions about titles on display and self-publishing.
General admission to the event is $25 for AARP members and $35 for non-members.
