Trafford Recognizes ‘Perils!’ for Inclusion in Gold Seal Program
Pensacola, FL (PRWEB) July 22, 2014 -- Written as two books in one, the new autobiographical work “Perils!” (published by Trafford Publishing) by authors Carolyn and Jack Fleming will entice readers with its collection of adventure stories and accompanying survival travel manual.
“Perils!” has been selected for inclusion in the Gold Seal program, which recognizes excellence in writing and overall potential.
The first portion of “Perils!” is a collection of 10 stories based on the authors’ international travels. Each story includes vibrant descriptions of dangers, close calls, and exploits in a variety of settings, including a crashing jetliner, the Taj-Mahal, and a subway station in Japan.
The second half of the book outlines survival tips written by Jack Fleming. Each section dedicates itself to a certain health issue that may arise during international travel, such as chest pain, fainting, and drowning, and provides tips for its treatment and prevention. The authors, therefore, coined the term “anticimoxie” – anticipating problems and treating them with poise.
