Trailer Wizards Sponsors ‘Hunger Awareness Week’ Again to Support Local Food Banks
Mississauga, ON (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- Trailer Wizards Ltd. is sponsoring Food Banks Canada’s 2014 Hunger Awareness Week. The week-long campaign, ‘Give Hunger A Voice’, will run from May 5 to May 9, 2014. During this time, Trailer Wizards’ employees will be spreading awareness of the issue of hunger across the country and the need for donations to food banks as well as supporting national programs. They will also be collecting non-perishable food items on behalf of Food Banks Canada.
“With the success we had last year collecting donations during Hunger Awareness Week, we are honoured to partner with Food Banks Canada again,” Doug Vanderspek, President of Trailer Wizards, explained. “Our employees feel strongly about giving back to their local communities. We encourage everyone to stop by a Trailer Wizards location and donate some food.”
Trailer Wizards’ branches will also be organizing food drives to support local food banks during their grand openings and customer appreciation events this spring with the goal of collecting more donations. Invited guests will be encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Any money or food that is raised locally will stay with a local food bank charity.
