Transfinder Announces Major Contract Buyout Program
Schenectady, NY (PRWEB) September 15, 2016 -- For the first time in Transfinder’s 28-year history, the routing software company is offering to buy out any school district’s contract with a competing routing software provider to demonstrate the value, safety and ease of Transfinder’s products.
“We speak daily with school districts that would love to ditch their current routing software program but feel stuck because of the investment they’ve put into the system,” said Transfinder president and CEO Antonio Civitella. “We are now removing that barrier for districts across the board. To any school district official reading this, if you’re unhappy with your routing software, now is your time to jump ship and not have the burden of paying for a disappointing software product.”
Civitella drove home the point: “We will cover the remainder of your contract with a competitor at our expense. That’s how much we believe in our solutions.”
Transfinder typically does not enter into long-term contracts with clients, unless it is required in a Request for Proposal or is requested by a district in order to lock in a price.
“We have to prove ourselves every year to our clients. We cannot get complacent,” Civitella said.
Since September 2015, half of Transfinder’s new clients have come from districts using a competing company’s software. Many school officials said they felt stuck with their existing product because of the time and resources.
“This Contract Buy Out initiative is designed to free school districts from their inferior products,” Civitella said.
Jeff Kappers, transportation director of Rochester Public Schools in Minnesota, said he is glad his district switched from (Brand X) to Transfinder because of its continual product development.
“(Brand X) has been promising some new software for years and it just wasn’t happening. I wanted more features and they weren’t willing to wiggle on cost,” he said.
As for the product, he said Transfinder’s solution is superior.
“I think Transfinder is much more user-friendly for end users,” he said. “You can get data quicker. The routing is safer with stop boundaries. With (Brand X), if you did a quick assign, you could route a kid across a major highway if you weren’t careful. It would just do that. And the ability to get data out on a spreadsheet is a really slick thing.”
Sandra Jankowski, transportation supervisor at Delran Township School District in New Jersey, was equally pleased she ditched (Brand Y). For Jankowski, the customer support is also superior to the competition’s.
“I make a call, and they help me,” she said. “I like having that connection with Transfinder employees.”
