Transport Company Goes Green with New Trailer Investment
UK (PRWEB UK) 23 March 2015 -- Independent transport company, Hi Speed Services, have demonstrated their commitment to the environment with the purchase of a new trailer. The Hampshire-based business recently invested in a City Urban Trailer to cut fuel costs and help the environment.
The new trailer has been specifically designed to manoeuvre easily around tight spaces, particularly when compared to the more traditional 18-ton rigid and articulated lorries typically used by transport companies.
Hi Speed Services provide nationwide courier services, secure storage and international deliveries from their bases in Aldershot, Camberley and Rugby.
Speaking of the new investment, Hi Speed Managing Director, Ian Dawkins, said:
“We are delighted with our new trailer and are already making use of it for deliveries in restricted, built-up areas where manoeuvrability would otherwise be difficult. This is just the first of many new vehicle investments which demonstrate our commitment to cutting fuel costs and emissions and doing everything we can as a transport company to minimise our impact on the environment.”
