Transportation Project Design and Management Expert Amar Rajpurkar Joins HNTB in Chicago
CHICAGO (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- Amar Rajpurkar has joined HNTB Corporation as vice president and Chicago office leader. Rajpurkar brings 25 years of experience in the engineering and architectural industry in transit, rail, aviation and highway project design, management and leadership.

Rajpurkar will be responsible for driving the successful operation of the firm’s Chicago office. He’ll play a central role in strategic direction, quality control, risk management, project excellence, recruitment and market diversification for HNTB.

Before joining HNTB, Rajpurkar served as regional outside sales executive for Jacobs. Prior to that, he served as Midwest Regional Business Development Lead for AECOM.
Rajpurkar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He has maintained an active presence within many engineering societies including the American Council of Engineering Companies, the American Society of Civil Engineers, Women’s Transportation Seminar, City Club of Chicago, the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association, the American Road and Transportation Builders Association and SOS Children’s Village of Illinois.
