Trapeze Group Chooses Microsoft Azure to Provide Fully-Managed, Cloud-based Services that Enhance Transit Agencies’ Agility, Security, and Regulatory Compliance
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (PRWEB) June 04, 2018 -- Trapeze Group today announced it has selected Microsoft Azure to power its mission-critical transit solutions that enable transit agencies to operate in more agile, secure, and compliant ways.
Trapeze will begin by integrating its reporting, business intelligence, and analytics software, ViewPoint, with Microsoft Power BI. ViewPoint provides actionable insights to transit leaders, by operating the present, explaining the past, and predicting the future. This enables transit agencies to make data-driven decisions, reducing the reliance on manual reporting that are redundant, time-consuming, and expensive.
Over 85% of the major transit agencies in North America use Trapeze to deliver smarter, safer, and more efficient public transit solutions to their communities. By allowing agencies to utilize and manage Trapeze solutions through cloud-based services, agencies can streamline their infrastructure provisioning and improve their compliance with regulations.

Trapeze’s TI products deliver scheduled and real-time information to transit passengers, and allows transit agencies to improve customer communications which can ultimately increase ridership.
