(PRWEB) January 11, 2016 -- Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP is pleased to welcome the following attorneys into the partnership: J. Patrick Carley, III, Chang Sik Kim, Jamie Kuebler, James Lofrese, and Christopher J. Nadeau.
J. Patrick Carley, III works in the firm’s New York office and is a graduate of Pace Law School. He practices in the firm’s professional liability group, where he focuses upon the representation of attorneys in all phases of litigation. He also represents school districts and religious institutions in general negligence and premises liability claims. Patrick has significant experience as a commercial litigator, having previously represented corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).
Chang Sik Kim works in the firm’s New York office and is a graduate of Kyungpook National University in Taegu, Korea, and Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago. Chang focuses his practice on Asian based clients, including product manufacturers, distributers and commercial firms. Chang assists this base with U.S. litigation, client advisory services, employment advice, contract and procurement issues, class actions and recall services. He is a member of the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KOCHAM), the Chair of the Corporate Law Section of the Korean American IT Engineers and Entrepreneurs (KITEE) and the New Jersey Korean American Chamber of Commerce.
Jamie Kuebler works in the firm’s New York office and is a graduate of New York Law School. Jamie’s practice includes the defense of construction accident, construction defect, professional liability, motor vehicle, insurance coverage and lead paint exposure matters. He focuses on New York State Labor Law claims and the defense of architects and engineers. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Litigation Section and the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) Insurance, Torts & Compensation Section. Jamie was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2014 and 2015, a distinction awarded to only 2.5% of lawyers in New York.
James Lofrese works in the firm’s New York office and is a graduate of the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He focuses his practice in the defense of construction accidents, adjacent property damage, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents as well as medical malpractice. Jim is a former Assistant District Attorney and is a very experienced trial attorney having handled nearly 60 jury trials. His primary focus is in the field of insurance defense litigation, handling all types of personal injury actions.
Christopher J. Nadeau works in the firm’s Chicago office and is a graduate of DePaul University College of Law. He focuses his practice on insurance coverage, excess monitoring, and casualty defense. He represents insurance companies in complex claim disputes, declaratory judgment actions and bad faith actions. Chris is also involved in many industry organizations, including the PLUS Midwest Steering committee, and he is on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations in the Chicago area.
