Traverse City Tourism Wins Plaudits from Michigan Meeting and Events Planners
Traverse City, MI (PRWEB) December 04, 2016 -- Traverse City Tourism has received the 2017 Excellence Award for CVBs from the Michigan Association of Association Executives (MSAE) at the organization's Nov. 18 Association Choice Awards banquet.
The official destination marketing organization for the year-round resort community of Traverse City, TCT was commended for the quality of its service to meeting planners from Michigan professional associations and organizations, which make up the bulk of MSAE's membership.
"What makes this so important to us is that only meeting planners can vote for these awards, so this is a vote of confidence from the very people we're trying to serve," said Tori Piersante, TCT's vice president for sales.
In May, the organization was also named "Best CVB in Michigan" by Michigan Meetings + Events Magazine.
Two other Traverse City entities, the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and the Park Place Hotel, also received excellence awards in their respective categories at the MSAE ceremony.
