Triangle Introduces High-Strength HVAC Products
(PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- Triangle's extensive heating, ventilation and air conditioning product offerings are now available in high strength, low-alloy steel (HSLA). This new material option has benefits including a 30-40% increase in yield strength without a significant increase in weight or cost. This higher strength steel also has a greater resistance to corrosion and rust, which makes it an ideal material for outdoor applications and high-stress environments.
This is especially helpful to furnace OEMs that utilize variable speed motors who require sturdy and long-lasting components. Triangle's motor mount arms, blower brackets and cushioned bearing mountings are available with HSLA steel. This strong alternative, combined with multiple vibration suppression products and Triangle's long-standing engineering experience will produce enduring, quiet performance.
Triangle can also create custom HVAC components using HSLA steel for squirrel cage blowers, industrial and commercial heating and cooling systems and mountings for swamp coolers and high-efficiency fans. Pricing will depend on volume and five week lead times are expected.
