Tribute Concert Set to Celebrate 50th Anniversary of the Beatles Invasion
Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) October 29, 2013 -- BritBeat, a tribute to the Beatles is set to recreate, with impeccable detail, concerts in 2014 celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles invasion of America on the Ed Sullivan Show. The debut concert is slated to kick off at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, Illinois on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Center Theatre at 8:00 p.m.
The 1960s really began on February 9, 1964 with an Ed Sullivan Show performance by a group of mop-headed kids from Liverpool, England known as The Beatles. Now Beatles fans can ‘Twist and Shout’ again to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of this momentous music milestone with a flawless recreation of the Beatles’ Ed Sullivan Show appearance performed by BritBeat - America’s Premier Tribute to The Beatles. The experience will be a ‘Ticket to Ride’ the Beatles’ debut in America on the Ed Sullivan Show with songs, ‘All My Loving’, ‘Till There Was You’ and ‘She Loves You’ and fans can immerse themselves in the mania, moods and emotions of the sixties while they dance away to classic hits, like ‘I Saw Her Standing There’ and ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’ just like it first happened in 1964.
The Sullivan show appearance will be followed by a theatrical, multi-media recreation concert produced to feature a completely accurate live concert experience through each of the ascending eras of Beatles’ music history. Beatles’ fans will continue on with the extravagance of a guided ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ with engaging songs from the Sgt. Pepper, psychedelic era. And before the journey is through, BritBeat will ‘Get Back’ to a spectacular musical finale of the later years of The Beatles. Relive the White Album, Let It Be and Abbey Road. Each era is not only represented with full retro costumes, vintage instruments and set changes, but with the stage mannerisms, tight vocal harmonies and even the Liverpudlian accents. They will all be presented with precise attention to every Beatles’ detail and be visually complemented with a stunning video backdrop of the sights and sounds of the sixties.
Fans of all ages can celebrate this Beatles’ historic moment as BritBeat delivers a theatrical concert experience that will have them clapping their hands and stomping their feet to this 50th Anniversary celebration.
