The 'X' Series Pipe Bursting System combines a compact size and while harnessing enough power to split 1" through 6" laterals in an attractive package. "The X30 is a great package for anyone replacing waterlines, drainlines, gas lines, 4" and 6” sewer replacements, and if I was starting a company this is the one tool I'd want on my truck," said TRIC's Director of Marketing and Training, John Rafferty. In 1997, TRIC's cable pulling ram launched the Lateral Pipe Bursting industry. TRIC's equipment replaces underground pipelines with polyethylene pipe.
TRIC invented and patented the first practical Lateral Pipe Bursting System while simultaneously gaining national approval of HDPE pipe for its use, thus opening the market for trenchless home sewer replacement in America. TRIC has since added municipal cable pulling systems to its arsenal, always employing their formula of modular portability, including pneumatic and steel splitting heads designed to replace various pipe sizes from 1/2" to 12" diameter.
