Trident University International Secures Key Education Partnership With The United States Army Sergeants Major Academy
Cypress, CA (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 -- Trident University International (Trident) is proud to announce a Memorandum of Agreement securing an educational partnership with The United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) located in Fort Bliss, TX. This agreement applies to students of the USASMA, facilitating their path to the completion of their bachelor’s degree.
With cooperation from the USASMA, Trident completed a rigorous academic assessment of the Academy’s curriculum and determined that the Academy’s courses, content, and academic objectives meet bachelor program competencies at Trident University. This agreement will optimize credit transfer for graduates of the Academy. Students who graduate from the USASMA and choose to enroll at Trident can expect to have a significant head start on the completion of a bachelor’s degree.
CSM(R) Phil Johndrow, National Director of Strategic Military and Veteran Alliances, and Steven Hall, U.S. Air Force (Retired) and Senior Director of Military and Veteran Relations of Trident’s Outreach & Partnerships team, as well as Dr. Scott Amundsen, Vice Provost for Academic Partnerships & Dean of University Studies, were instrumental in securing this agreement.

The USASMA was founded in 1972, graduating more than 120,000 soldiers since its inception. This partnership came to fruition due to the emphasis placed on education by the USASMA leadership CSM Dennis Defreese, Commandant, and his deputy, CSM, Tedd (Joe) Pritchard.
