Flower Mound, TX (PRWEB) December 19, 2013 -- This Christmas Eve, Trietsch UMC will host a variety of services to which all are welcome to attend and join the congregation in celebrating Christmas.
Dec. 24 is a night of music, candles and joyful celebration at Trietsch UMC. There will be seven services to meet the needs and availability of all those who wish to celebrate. At 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., there will be a special children’s service that will include a message for the kids, music by the children’s choir and a special Christmas gift. At 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., those interested can join in the Reign band as they lead the congregation in a contemporary worship with candle lighting.
For those who want the full effect of the choir, organ, orchestra and bells, the church will offer services at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. with traditional music and candle lighting in the sanctuary. The evening will end with a special casual communion service with candle lighting at 11 p.m. For those going out of town for the holiday, a traveler’s service will be held Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.
Azure Reetz, a member of Trietsch UMC, said, “Christmas isn’t complete until I sing ‘Silent Night’ and hold my candle high at Trietsch to welcome the coming Christ child. It always moves me to tears of joy.”
