TriTech SBDC Receives $12,500 Grant from Bank of America
Corona, California (PRWEB) September 29, 2017 -- TriTech SBDC recently received a $12,500 grant from Bank of America to promote small business growth and economic development in the Inland Empire. The grant is part of Bank of America’s support to nonprofits addressing issues crucial to economic mobility and community vitality efforts like creating strong business corridors and access to safe, affordable housing.
Thus, the grant funding awarded to TriTech will be used to promote technology and innovation by providing free consulting workshops and webinars for existing and aspiring business owners, marketing and sales assistance, access to capital, business model development and feasibility studies.
“With the generous grant from Bank of America, TriTech will continue to be the catalyst for growth and economic recovery in the Inland Empire for high technology and high growth businesses. With the grant funds TriTech will create and retain 30 jobs and generate $6,000,000 in access to capital for entrepreneurs”, said Mark Mitchell, Director of TriTech.
TriTech SBDC has a proven track record of helping high tech start-ups access capital and create plans for funding, as well as providing high-level referrals to service providers. Furthermore, their efficient use of resources consistently yields $113,000 in economic impact for every $1,000 in funding.
Some of Tritech SBDC’s most notable achievements include partnering with NASA through the Space Act Agreement, the first in the nation to do so; and outpacing other SBDCs in California with impressive returns on funding investments.
“Small business plays a crucial role in expanding economic opportunity, both on an individual and community level. Bank of America is proud to partner with TriTech SBDC to connect small business owners and entrepreneurs with important counseling resources and the tools they need to succeed,” said Al Arguello, Bank of America Market President for the Inland Empire.
