TRM Expands its High Performance Cloud™ offerings with new IBM Maximo® SaaS and SoftLayer® Agreements
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) December 17, 2014 -- Total Resource Management, Inc. (TRM), a leading enterprise asset management (EAM), Maximo consulting and technology firm, announced it has been approved as the first business partner in the IBM SaaS Solution Provider program for IBM Maximo Software as a Service. TRM will bring their business know-how and related value and services together with IBM Maximo SaaS to provide Level 1 customer support and long term value, including the ability to integrate with customer’s IT support structure. As a part of the program, TRM can offer concurrent Maximo licenses – which is not possible through traditional perpetual license purchasing.
Before this program was even established, TRM signed and delivered the first customer to use the newly created IBM Maximo SaaS solution. An Alaska-based facility management services company selected TRM to deliver IBM Maximo SaaS powered by SoftLayer®. This client was managing their inventory, labor and services for their clients using manual spreadsheets. Recognizing the need for a more sophisticated Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, they sought out Maximo and wanting to decrease the expense of hardware and software, required an experienced hosting provider.
TRM has also recently been awarded the implementation of a large Army logistics company who recently chose to migrate from an on premise implementation to IBM Maximo SaaS.
