TrophyCentral, Inc. Launches New Site for Sending Digital Awards, Kudatz.com
KATONAH, New York (PRWEB) February 12, 2014 -- TrophyCentral, Inc., an online retailer of trophies, plaques, and a wide variety of other recognition products, recently launched Kudatz.com to allow parents, teachers, and others to easily send digital awards and certificates to students of all ages. While the site is in beta, the initial target audience is students in elementary school, middle school and high school.
With a name that combines the words “kudos” and “congratulations,” Kudatz.com offers a number of features that are completely free, filling a gap in the highly price-sensitive education market. After creating an account, customers can send deserving students printable certificates or awards acknowledging their accomplishments. Because the awards are digital, they not only can be printed and displayed, they can also be easily shared on social media or through email.
Kudatz also has a feature that enables users such as teachers and coaches, to create sub-accounts for younger award recipients who do not have their own email accounts and want the security of a closed system.
“Kudatz gives teachers and educators a new and very inexpensive way to motivate children,” says Neil Rader, co-founder of Kudatz. “While gold stars will likely be around for quite a while, digital advancements enable us to do things never before imagined. For example, Kudatz enables users to share awards and recognition with friends and family and also to group and accumulate awards for tracking progress. Further, teachers can use Kudatz to create fun contests geared towards an individual student’s goals or those of an entire class.”
By creating digital contests, teachers can give students the ability to compete for more awards. For instance, an English teacher could motivate students to read books by giving a certain number of Kudatz points for each book completed. When a student reaches a certain number of points, an award is automatically issued. Each award is stored in a student’s virtual trophy case, visible in a fun way on Kudatz.com.
In addition to free certificates and awards, in the future, Kudatz users will also have the option to purchase more detailed designs created by an artist. Chargeable awards range in price from $.99 to $5.99 and offer another way to reward students in a differentiated way.
Each Kudatz certificate and award comes with a theme, from a particular sport to a hobby like reading. Teachers can add the student’s name and the date for the award, and even add a photograph such as a picture of a class project to make it even more appealing as it is displayed or shared.
With this beta release, artists are encouraged to become a part of the Kudatz community. Artists can easily build a profile on the site which will enable customers to find their work and choose the certificates they’ve created for their own awards. Artists need not be professionals, and the Kudatz team is anticipating that this feature will be widely used by students wishing to share their award creations with other students.
