Troy McQuagge is Slated to Head USHEALTH Group, Inc.
Fort Worth, Texas (PRWEB) April 14, 2014 -- The USHEALTH Group Board of Directors has announced that Troy McQuagge will become CEO of USHEALTH Group, Inc. effective June 30th, 2014 to coincide with the planned retirement of Ben Cutler. Mr. McQuagge will also retain his responsibilities as President of USHEALTH Group, Inc. and CEO and President of USHEALTH Advisors, LLC its wholly-owned career insurance agency (USHEALTH Advisors). Mr. Cutler will continue to serve the company as non-executive Chairman of its Board of Directors.
The announcement was made to a group of more than 200 USHEALTH Advisors’ sales leaders and USHEALTH Group’s home-office employees in Dallas/Fort Worth, as the company celebrated completion of its 2013 Fiscal Year with its best financial performance in the history of USHEALTH Group.
In accepting the CEO duties at USHEALTH Group, Mr. McQuagge urged the assembled leaders and employees to build upon the company’s sales momentum, stating that “in 2013, USHEALTH Advisors and USHEALTH Group took another giant step forward by recording its 4th record sales year in a row and establishing a new standard of excellence.”
Mr. McQuagge joined the company in 2010 as President and CEO of USHEALTH Advisors. During his tenure, he led the sales and distribution arm of USHEALTH Group to consecutive record sales years. Since July 2010 under his leadership, USHEALTH Advisors has grown the writing agent base by 480% and increased new business sales volume by 560%. The company continues to break new ground, completing a record 1st quarter in 2014.
When asked about the performance of USHEALTH Group, Mr. McQuagge said, “The success we enjoy today as a company is not an accident. Mr. McQuagge is a 30-year veteran of the insurance industry, starting his career with the Allstate Insurance Company in 1983. He joined UICI (now HealthMarkets) in 1995, where he built the two largest career health insurance sales organizations in America. He holds a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.
