TRUCK CITY Announces Re-Brand and Women Business Enterprise Certification
Gary, IN (PRWEB) September 24, 2015 -- For the past 69 years, Truck City has strived to provide our customers with top quality Freightliner and Western Star (class 4-8) medium & heavy-duty trucks, parts and service. We pride ourselves on having some of the most innovative, cutting-edge products and services for the markets we serve. Many of the quality products that our dealership offers are manufactured in the United States.
In our continued efforts to broaden our sales portfolio, we have obtained our state certification and are now a Certified Women's Business Enterprise (WBE). In addition, Truck city has received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). These certifications increase our level of supplier diversity with public and private sectors and positions Truck City to do business globally. Our business name has changed from Truck City of Gary, Inc. to Truck City for marketing related purposes. The company’s legal name will remain as Truck City of Gary, Inc. and the company shall be referred to simply as Truck City. Given our strengthened position in the global market, we felt that it was necessary to transition our brand from a local image to a global image.
We have also launched a new website to reflect our new brand—http://www.mytruckcity.com. Any email addresses you may currently have on file for Truck City employees will be replaced with mytruckcity.com e-mail addresses. However, for your convenience, these individuals may continue to be reached at the email addresses you are currently using.
Finally, we are more than confident that this re-branding process will not only help us to continue to grow as a company, but it will enable us to better assist our customers.
