TruConnect Forms TruConnect Technologies LLC; Acquires Network Operator Business of WeFi, Inc.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 12, 2016 -- TruConnect Communications, Inc., one of the nation’s fastest growing prepaid mobile service providers, announced that it has formed TruConnect Technologies, LLC, a new unit that acquired the business, operating assets, and technology of WeFi, Inc.’s network operating activities. The company will be based in Los Angeles with an R&D innovation center in Tel Aviv.
Nathan Johnson, Chairman and co-CEO noted, “WeFi is a leading provider of intelligent wi-fi offload and mobile analytics in the network operator space. The company also announced several executive appointments to TruConnect Technologies. Raz Alon, a board advisor to WeFi and former CEO of Comverse Technologies has been named its CEO. Steve Becker, former head of sales and business development for WeFi, has been named its Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Arie Shahan has been named its General Manager for Israel, and Yariv Lifchuk has been named Vice President of R&D.
