True Source Honey Retracts and Removes False Information Concerning Honey Holding I, Ltd
Baytown, TX (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- Honey Holding I, Ltd (“Honey Holding”), an industrial honey processor, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with True Source Honey (“True Source”) whereby True Source retracted its admittedly false and incorrect statement that Honey Holding had been indicted for defrauding the U.S. out of millions of dollars of anti-dumping duty, and True Source removed this false statement from its public web site.
In an agreement dated April 23rd, True Source admitted that it had published on its web site false information concerning Honey Holding, albeit unintentionally. In doing so, True Source confirmed that Honey Holding has never been indicted or charged by the U.S. government for illegal transshipment of Chinese honey or for defrauding the United States out of any anti-dumping duties. And in an effort to correct any public misconception resulting from its false, published misstatement, True Source Honey has posted the following retraction “We recently published an item that contained the statement ‘Honey Holding of TX indicted on defrauding U.S. millions of dollars over anti-dumping duties.’ This statement was incorrect and was removed as soon as the mistake was brought to our attention. This retraction by True Source follows a recent retraction by the American Honey Producers Association (“AHPA”) which last month admitted that it too had incorrectly represented that Honey Holding had been criminally charged with illegal transshipment of Chinese honey.
