Trust Stamp Wins People's Choice Award at Plug and Play Fintech Expo

Trust Stamp won the People's Choice Award at this year's Plug and Play Fintech Expo. Of the 22 startups that presented, the audience of global financial institutions voted Trust Stamp as #1 for the People's Choice Award.

The 12-week Plug and Play Fintech program began in 2015 and runs twice a year. The Fintech program has accelerated more than 200 Fintech startups and invested in more than 50. The purpose of the Expo is to connect early-stage startups to the world's leading financial institutions.

Trust Stamp was one of only 25 FinTech startups selected for the Spring program out of over 1,000 that applied.

"It's been a huge honor," said Andrew Gowasack, co-founder and CEO of Trust Stamp. "I've been flying to California every other week, and I've been excited about it every time, despite the 5-hour flight!

"I've built two years' worth of relationships in three months. It's been fantastic and I am proud that as an Atlanta company we received this industry recognition at one of the West Coast's most renowned accelerator programs."

The valuable relationship with Plug and Play is one that the fast-growing startup plans to extend by maintaining a permanent "West Coast office" housed in Plug and Play's Sunnyvale facility.
