SILVER SPRING, Md. (PRWEB) January 29, 2018 -- TSC Advantage, a leader in cybersecurity consulting and enterprise risk assessment, announced today that it is a finalist for the Insurance Consulting Team of the Year category of the inaugural Business Insurance U.S. Insurance Awards program.
The U.S. Insurance Awards recognize excellence in the risk management and commercial insurance sectors, while also raising money through an educational endowment to address the industry’s talent shortage. The finalists will be reviewed by a panel of professional risk managers and the winners will be announced at a gala dinner in New York on March 8.
TSC Advantage is one of five companies recognized in the Insurance Consulting Team of the Year category, along with global firms AIG and AON, and consulting firms KCIC and Marsh Berry & Co. TSC Advantage is being considered for its efforts to improve cyber risk management decisions in a competitive cyber insurance market through value-add consulting and introduction of an innovative new platform that provides both efficiency and meaningful insight into security vulnerabilities and cyber risks.
“We’re proud to contribute to the growing and evolving area of risk transfer through cyber insurance,” said Sean Doherty, founder and president of TSC Advantage. “As a trusted assessor for very large critical infrastructure policies, we’ve seen the dueling forces of increasing cyber risk and competitive pressures that have caused insurance policies to be underwritten without full visibility into risk.”
TSC Advantage introduced its web-based Secure Halo™ platform in 2017 to give insurers a view of aggregated risk, speed the application process for insureds, and provide a 360-degree assessment of security controls implemented. It also supports wholesale and retail brokers with value-add services they can use to engage insureds in meaningful conversations about cyber risk.
