TUFF SHED Boosts Presence in Texas by Opening Two New Locations

The new locations are located in Rockwall, Texas and Round Rock, Texas and increase TUFF SHED's total number of company-owned locations in Texas to 17.
The first new sales lot in Rockwall is located at 1780 E. I-30 off of the frontage road. To visit this site, located approximately 30 minutes northeast of Dallas, customers should take the Exit 68 toward TX-205/Rockwall/Terrell off of I-30. This TUFF SHED location, which officially opened for business July 15, 2013, serves the entire Eastern Metroplex area.
The second site, located in Round Rock, Texas at 15524 North IH-35, can be accessed from Interstate 35 via exit 248 towards Grand Ave Parkway. This sales lot, which opened July 8, 2013, is located approximately 15 miles north of Austin and showcases an assortment of TUFF SHED's signature Garden, Premier and Premier PRO Series sheds, garages and specialty buildings.
TUFF SHED has been serving customers in Texas since opening a manufacturing and retail sales location in San Antonio in 1997. According to TUFF SHED South Central Regional Manager Tommy Sedotal, while TUFF SHED has been serving the Dallas and Austin areas for many years, these new retail showrooms were established in an overall effort to increase retail sales in the region by adding the Rockwall lot and modifying a previous dealer location in Round Rock to a factory-direct sales lot.
“While we currently have a presence around Dallas we were missing a presence in the area north of there,” Sedotal said. “We decided on Rockwall because it’s a growing community and a highly traveled commuter route. This will really give us the presence we were missing in North Dallas.”
Sedotal also said that by converting a previous dealer location to a TUFF SHED sales lot they will be able to better serve their customers in the Austin area. “The Round Rock area is the fastest growing market in Austin,” Sedotal says. “And we’re excited to be more accessible to our customers in this area.”
