According to News 9, two vehicles were racing down 81st Street in South Tulsa when one of the vehicles, a Ford Crown Victoria, crashed into the van carrying the accident victim and her family as they were turning onto Delaware Ave at the intersection of 81st and Delaware.
The News 9 article said that the Crown Victoria crashed into the van at speeds approaching 100 miles per hour, hospitalizing three and leaving the woman, a high school junior who was returning home from church, with fatal injuries to her brain.
