Tune In Vs. Tune Out: Ivy Child International’s Multicultural Yoga and Mindfulness Spring Camp 2014
Worcester, MA (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- Ivy Child International and Central Rock Gym are hosting a 5-day inaugural camp for children, ages 6-12, who want to celebrate and practice yoga, combat stress, enhance awareness and empathy while improving engagement and focus. The Yoga and Miindfulness Camp has a unique blend of offerings ranging from themed yoga, meditation, music, art, and mindful eating and nutrition.
“This is an alternative experience for children which allows them to tune into their feelings and just be. There are fruitful benefits to this,” said Ivy Child CEO Rose Pavlov. “In fact, recent studies from the Ivy Child International Research Institute shows that individuals who take regular time-ins daily are better able to navigate challenges when they arise and experience greater joy.”
Healthy snacks are included in the cost of spring camp program fees. Global music and other classes like Dance yoga , Laughter Yoga, and Meditation sessions will be offered, along with interactive classes on topics such as mindful eating and nutrition, and multicultural yoga and dance offering a spectrum of yoga teachers and mindfulness practitioners from all over New England leading and sharing their passion for mindfulness and yoga.
