TURBO, a Bathroom Must Have Footstool for Improved Health, Launches on Kickstarter

TURBO is a footstool that is placed directly in front of the toilet. Users sit on the toilet as they normally would, then place their feet on the TURBO footstool and slightly lean forward. This posture mimics squatting, which in turns aligns the colon for a clean and efficient bowel movement, just the way our body intended, while still having the comfort of the toilet.
“Before the 19th century toilets were nonexistent and people used to squat to release, but times have changed and we all appreciate the convenience and comfort of the Western toilet,” said Tikeswar Naik, co-founder and leader of NadiaLabs. “However, sitting on the toilet creates a kink in the colon which makes it difficult for bowel movements and can lead to a number of health issues such as hemorrhoids, constipation, IBS and colon cancer. TURBO moves the body into a more natural squatting position.”
TURBO has another key feature that adds a whole new dimension to the bathroom experience, the foot massage. The feet have pressure points for different parts of the body including the colon. Stimulating the feet can help with constipation and other colon issues.

TURBO comes in two different styles, the standard TURBO as well as TURBO Blade. The Standard TURBO can adjust squatting level simple by moving the feet forward and back while the TURBO Blade’s toe piece height can be adjusted to give more control, flexibility and range when squatting.
TURBO is also the one and only footstool that can be used by family members of different heights. It’s designed for easy and adjustable squatting, the lower toe area combined with the ramp design that gives the choice of how much the user wants to squat by positioning the feet forward or backward.
