Turkcell Superonline Transforms IP Multimedia System with Dialogic Softswitch

(OTCQB:DLGC), the Network Fuel™ company, today announced that Turkcell Superonline, a leading telecom operator in Turkey, completed the replacement of its softswitch technology with the Dialogic® ControlSwitch™ System to support its IP Multimedia System (IMS) and TDM-based business and residential voice services. Turkcell Superonline selected the ControlSwitch System for its advanced IP-to-IP switching, session management capabilities, seamless interconnection with not only its Ericsson IMS network but also its extensive embedded base of media gateways from Cisco. Dialogic helped Turkcell Superonline reduce its capital expenditures and transition to a next-generation architecture without service interruption.
Turkcell Superonline provides comprehensive voice and data telecommunications solutions for wholesale, corporate and residential customers in Eastern Europe. When Cisco announced the end-of-life for its PGW 2200 softswitch product, Turkcell Superonline needed to find a long-term replacement for this core part of its infrastructure. Expertise in smooth TDM migrations to all-IP networks combined with Dialogic’s strong interworking offerings and IMS-ready media gateway control function (MGCF) solution made it a clear choice for Turkcell Superonline.
