Tutors International announce they are searching for an American private tutor required for Singapore-based role
London (PRWEB UK) 16 January 2016 -- Tutors International announced they have started recruitment for a private tutoring role based initially in Singapore. The role will involve travel and eventual relocation back to the United States and will require experience in delivering the full US curriculum, with emphasis on science and mathematics. The student experiences particular difficulty with reading fluency as well as phonological processing deficits.
Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International, said of the vacancy: “The successful candidate for this role needs to be organised, flexible and adaptable, as well as able to retain the elder student’s focus. The tutor will play a crucial role in instilling good study habits and techniques which will enable her to eventually advance on to further study. Her parents are keen to ensure that she is not overlooked as a result of her learning difficulties and see private tuition as a means to challenge their daughter on a one-to-one basis, whilst also taking her individual needs into account. By challenging her, it is hoped that the tutor can aid in improving her academic performance as well as inspiring a natural desire for knowledge.”
The family will be located full-time in Singapore for around six months, following which the tutor will assume a supporting role with the student after school upon their return to Kansas City, United States. It will be important, throughout the placement, for the tutor to maintain regular communication with the pupil’s school and aid it in gaining a more detailed understanding of her academic needs and capabilities.
Tutors International has a proven track record in successfully placing tutors with students experiencing learning difficulties, including dyslexia, OCD and attention deficit disorders. Its recruitment approach is thorough and tailored to the individual needs of both student and tutor.
