TVision Technology; Three successful NAV Go-Lives to start the Year!
(PRWEB UK) 25 January 2016 -- TVision Technology, Microsoft Gold Partner has started 2016 with three projects all going live on 4th January. The projects, all for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, included an existing client upgrade, a new client re-implementation and a brand new NAV implementation.
Cutting over to a new finance or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system can happen at any time during a year and certainly Dynamics NAV does not dictate. However, for ease of audit, most companies aim for year-end or early period end, e.g. first quarter. Whenever it happens, there is always mixed emotions as after months of preparation, the button is finally pressed.
“To come back from Christmas and New Year straight into a go-live could be seen as a brave move,” Nicki Stewart, TVision Technology comments. “That all three have gone live so quietly reflects the simplicity of a well-planned NAV cutover.”
The projects included an upgrade for existing client, Packpost, who are now set to enjoy their next decade of NAV use. “We were immediately impressed by NAV,” Michelle Lucatello, Finance Director, Packpost, “it was not only light years ahead of our old version, it was also light years ahead of the other mid-market packages we evaluated. We are also really pleased to continue working with TVision.”
Lodge Brothers, NAV users since 1999, transferred to TVision Technology to manage their re-implementation onto the latest version of NAV.
New clients A&O IT engaged TVision last year to rapidly implement NAV as a replacement to a legacy system; the solution, embracing finance and stock, was delivered in two months.
All three clients report successful migration. Jason Bradley, lead consultant for two of the projects, “No matter how much preparation has been undertaken, clients often like the comfort of additional on-site support during go-live. However, so far I have been happily at my desk with a quiet phone!”
