Two Trident University International Senior Leaders Take On Key Positions With CA-ACME
Cypress, CA (PRWEB) August 20, 2015 -- Esmeralda Silva, Trident University International’s (Trident) Vice President of Outreach and Strategic Alliances, was recently named President of California’s Advisory Council on Military Education (CA-ACME), an organization dedicated to increasing the access to support services, benefits, and support services in the military community.
Silva, a proponent of education for all, has built strong ties across all branches of the United Stated Armed Forces. She is also a member of the LA Veteran Collaboration – Higher Education Working Group, serves on the Military Friendly® Advisory Board, and actively participates in national education consortiums.
Dr. Afshin Afrookhteh, Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Trident, was recently appointed as Treasurer at CA-ACME. Dr. Afrookhteh holds both Ph.D. and J.D. degrees and has over 20 years of higher education experience at both private as well as public higher education including traditional and online institutions. Additionally, he is a member of Trident’s Executive Leadership Team and he chairs the Trident Regulatory Affairs Committee (TRAC).
