Tyler Anthony Chosen for Oregon Liquor Control Comission's Wholesale Technical Advisory Committee
Portland, OR: (PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- Harris Moure attorney Tyler Anthony was selected by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission to sit on its Wholesale Technical Advisory Committee, helping develop regulations for wholesale businesses licensed under Measure 91, Oregon’s recreational marijuana program. Oregon will be the first state to offer a stand-alone cannabis wholesale license.
“I am honored to sit on this committee,” said Anthony, who practices in the Canna Law Group, a practice group of Harris Moure. “Oregon’s recreational marijuana program presents unique challenges, and I look forward to helping the state address these head on.”
Prior to joining Harris Moure, Tyler helped coordinate administrative rulemaking efforts for the Illinois Medical Cannabis Pilot Program, as its Legal Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor. His practice focuses on advising cannabis businesses throughout the country on regulatory compliance, licensing, and government relations issues.
“Tyler’s expertise in developing regulations and dealing with uncharted legal territory will be an asset to the OLCC and will make him a valued stakeholder in the rulemaking process,” said Hilary Bricken, who chairs Harris Moure’s regulated substances practice.
