U.S. Dermatology Partners, Backed by Abry Partners, Expands Its Arizona Presence Through a New Partnership with Medical Dermatology Specialists

U.S. Dermatology Partners is a physician-owned, dermatology-focused practice management organization.
Medical Dermatology Specialists was founded in 2008 by Dr. Lindsay Ackerman, and has two board-certified physicians on staff. Services provided by Medical Dermatology Specialists include both general and surgical dermatology, in addition to restorative aesthetic procedures.
Dr. Lindsay Ackerman graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her Dermatology training at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She continued her medical training by completing a fellowship in Immunodermatology and Clinical Education. During her fellowship, she also worked as a Clinical Instructor in the Tulane Department of Dermatology. Dr. Ackerman specializes in General Dermatology and currently participates in the training of primary-care resident physicians in the Phoenix area. She has held several leadership and academic positions, including: Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona, State Chair of the Dermatology Foundation Leader’s Society, and a Resident Representative of the Women’s Dermatologic Society, among others.
Dr. Margaret Kessler received her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed her Dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University. Her scope of practice includes general and surgical dermatology for both adult and pediatric patients with a special interest in psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, immunobullous disorders, and infectious diseases of the skin, among others. Dr. Kessler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, AZ.
