U.S. Dermatology Partners Further Expands in Colorado by Partnering with Apex Dermatology Group
DENVER (PRWEB) April 02, 2018 -- U.S. Dermatology Partners (“USDP”) is pleased to announce that it has further expanded in the state of Colorado with the acquisition of Apex Dermatology Group (“ADG”). U.S. Dermatology Partners is a physician-owned, dermatology-focused practice management organization.
Apex Dermatology Group:
Serving the City of Denver for more than 15 years, and the ADG team led by Dr. Alexandra Theriault, boasts years of local experience, medical expertise, and practice familiarity. The practice has four providers and two locations serving the greater Denver area, with locations in Denver and Littleton.
Alexandra Theriault, M.D. graduated magna cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at The University of Texas at Houston and was selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Colorado. Dr. Theriault is board-certified in dermatology, and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at The University of Colorado and is currently on the teaching faculty of Medical Education Resources. She also mentors medical students at the CU Health Science Center as a preceptor, and is a volunteer faculty member teaching University of Colorado dermatology residents on Cosmetic Injection Techniques.
Michelle Chevalier, M.D. graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Pursuing her medical education at Rush Medical College in Chicago, she was awarded the Medical Staff Prize for Clinical Excellence and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She subsequently completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago, followed by a dermatology residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. She is dual board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology, having completed her fellowship training in dermatopathology at Tufts University Medical Center and Miraca Life Sciences.
Joining the physicians of ADG are their highly-qualified physician assistants, Leslie Mazur, PA-C and Molly Kozlowski, PA-C, MMS. Leslie has over seven years of experience in dermatology. Leslie graduated from Indiana University in 1998 with degrees in Spanish and Biology and she received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in 2001. Molly has six years of experience in dermatology and earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from DePauw University in 2005 and a Masters in Medical Science from the University of Saint Francis in 2009.
