U.S. Manufacturer Of Washers And Shims, Superior Washer & Gasket Corp., Marks Holiday Season With Local Family Adoption And Contribution To The Wounded Warrior Project
Hauppauge, NY (PRWEB) December 19, 2013 -- In their annual mission to make outreach a priority of their company’s holiday observance, this December, Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. has decided to extend charity on local and national levels. Through the adoption of a local family and generous contributions to church outreach, the washer, shim and small stampings manufacturer has sought to make the Christmas season happier for members of their immediate community. Beyond their neighborhood, Superior Washer has continued to contribute to the Wounded Warrior Project as an additional part of their mission to help causes far from home, and yet close to the heart of their company vision.
The Wounded Warrior Project seeks to raise awareness and gather support for servicemen and women who have incurred physical and mental injuries, illness and wounds as a result of their military service. Since September 11th, 2001 and through today, the organization serves both veterans and soldiers with programs and support that are specifically developed to the needs of service members and their families. The Wounded Warrior Project and their cause especially appealed to the company. Superior Washer’s long time heritage as an American manufacturer, and an ever-present community contributor, plays a direct role in their continued choice of the Wounded Warrior Project as one of their widespread outreach efforts.
Closer to their home, the manufacturer also put forth efforts to help those in their own neighborhood. Through a community church outreach, Superior Washer learned of a local family who had fallen on hard times after losing a loved one. Thanks to the company’s decision to help through monetary donations, contributions of clothing, toys and other necessities, the adopted family will now have a happier holiday season.
As many companies focus solely on holiday parties and seasonal profits, Superior Washer has decided to make outward generosity and inclusive gift giving a foremost company mission during the weeks leading up to Christmas and the New Year. In their collective effort to give back to those in need, Superior Washer has also benefited through boosted company morale, common purpose, and revival of the holiday spirit. Superior Washer is proud to make these actions a priority that stands higher than profits, and hopes that they inspire customer confidence in working with a company that’s dedicated to greater causes—from their local community to support of this nation’s troops.
Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. employees, supervisors, management and the CEO have all been excited for the opportunity to give back and do their part for such worthy causes. “We pride ourselves on being a homegrown, American manufacturer that is deeply invested in our community. It’s that same pride and compassion that drives us to support our local neighborhoods and our wounded warriors—knowing that this Christmas we can give back and make an impact outside of the washer industry,” said Superior Washer & Gasket Corp. CEO, Allan Lippolis.
Superior Washer hopes to inspire other manufacturers to also contribute to causes beyond their own companies, while embracing a spirit of giving that embodies the Christmas holiday.
