U.S. Manufacturer Standard Tools and Equipment Co. Releases New State-of-the-Art Air Makeup Unit with Added Safety Features
Greensboro, NC (PRWEB) October 26, 2013 -- Standard Tools and Equipment Co. has been designing and manufacturing paint spray booths since 1997 and has since built and shipped over 10,000 booths. The company announced that it has joined the ranks with a handful of U.S. paint booth manufacturers to create an air makeup unit to support their paint booths. The Sure-Cure® AMU is ETL-certified and is designed, manufactured and sold by Standard Tools and Equipment from their Greensboro, North Carolina plant.
“We find that our most successful endeavors come from knowing our industry and seeing that we can create a product that is best in class,” said Standard Tools and Equipment Co. CEO Michael Kestler. “There is a great need in the market for a safe and reliable unit that has all the bells and whistles included in the marketed price. Customers were fed up with the lengthy wait times that are currently associated with air makeup units. They didn’t understand how we could design, customize, build and ship a paint booth in less than 10 days but they had to wait months, for their air makeup unit.”
Standard Tools and Equipment Co. investigated and decided that they could make the units safer, quicker and to meet the needs of the customer. As a leading paint booth manufacturer, they have the experience, knowledge and expertise to provide heat to a booth properly.
For Standard Tools and Equipment, that’s exactly how they began to make paint booths years ago. “We noticed a major need and we had all the right elements to meet that need,” Kestler said. “We have used our experience to develop over 10,000 booths that are unsurpassed in performance and value for our customers.”
After 2 years in research and development, the Sure-Cure® AMU prototype was sent to Intertek to be rigorously tested for certification. The final certification paperwork and documents were received last month and the product was released to market in October 2013 via this video on their YouTube channel.
“Once we decided that we wanted to develop a state-of-the-art air makeup unit, we worked with the smartest, most knowledgeable professionals in the industry,” Kestler said. “We’re proud to offer you the safest AMU on the market today.”
As one of the largest paint booth manufacturers in the United States, Standard Tools and Equipment Company pulled together everything they have learned over the last 15+ years to develop this new product. Safety was important as the company started to plan out how their unit would be different than others on the market. Many safety features complete this AMU, including flame failure reset, multi-service disconnect and a low-flame auto setting at the loss of power. This unit was designed to be the safest available on the market today. You can read the features and benefits on their blog.
“We have built an extraordinary unit that can be built to the customer’s specifications, and shipped within just 2-3 weeks,” John Mauney, Director of Manufacturing at Standard Tools and Equipment Co. “We’re offering our customers the opportunity to be up and running quicker. We understand that they have a business to run and we want to help them do that.”
The unit is available to order and will be delivered in time for this winter season.
“We have already had several shops order their units,” Mauney says. “Without any marketing or promotions! The overwhelming demand, right from the beginning tells us that we are in for an exciting future.”
