U.S. Security Associates Announces Senior Vice President of Security Force Development
ATLANTA, Georgia (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- U.S. Security Associates recently named Harold Underdown as Senior Vice President, Security Force Development. Underdown joins U.S. Security Associates (USA), after a distinguished 30-year career with the United States Navy as Master Chief Naval Special Warfare (SEAL). In his new role, he will oversee the recruitment, selection, training, communications, and development programs of the USA security officer force.

Prior to joining USA, Underdown completed many assignments and accepted multiple demanding leadership roles as a member of the U.S. Navy SEALs. He was selected to serve as Mobility Team Boat Crew Leader at Naval Special Warfare Development Group in Dam Neck, VA, through which he completed numerous missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Underdown was later assigned as Senior Enlisted Advisor for Assault Cell, assuming the duties of Command Master Chief for his team. During this assignment, he completed two deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was then assigned the duties of Senior Enlisted Advisor at NSW Logistics, and was subsequently assigned all components of Naval Special Warfare Group Two.
In honor of his service in the U.S. Navy, Underdown has received numerous awards including the Bronze Star Metal (V Device), Bronze Star Medal, two Defense Meritorious Service awards, and many others.
