UHY LLP Michigan Recognizes New Hires and Tenured Employees
Sterling Heights, Michigan (PRWEB) February 15, 2016 -- Between the last three quarters of 2015 and first quarter of 2016, UHY LLP's Michigan practice added 112 employees to their team.
The Michigan offices were excited to welcome their biggest hiring class of interns and staff accountants on Wednesday, January 13.
“Fall 2015 campus recruiting season was even more competitive than last year. We continued to extend offers at the on-campus interview stage and also brought in more accounting students through our office visit process to continue to add talent to our firm,” said recruiting manager, Rina Henning. “Partners, managers, staff and former interns connected with students on campus to help identify top talent. As a team we were able to share “WHY UHY” and our growth opportunities. Without UHY staff participation, we would not have been as effective in hiring this past season. Our team did an awesome job in helping identify students as we continue to have a strong brand on campus. UHY is being recognized by students as one of the top middle market firms to join!”
In addition, UHY proudly recognized 21 tenured employees during quarterly breakfast meetings in 2015. Awards honored employees who reached milestones of employment from five years on in five year increments. In fact, eight employees reached the 25-year or more mark in 2015. Dennis LaPorte celebrated 35 years at UHY along with Diane Dherckers. Jerry Grady and Pete Sestak both reached 30 years. Tom Bowen, Harold Burns, Keith Moore and Matt Munn all celebrated 25 years with the firm.
