Ukrainian, French and Spanish Filmmakers Gather in US to Shoot a Provocative Comedy Web Series about Filmmaking

Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) February 04, 2016 -- “Behind the Blinds aka Filmmaking 101” main characters Anton and Sergey are mobsters. They decide to launder money by making a film, despite having no experience in the field. Serious consequences occur.

“Working on a comedy is a challenge. You have to keep balance between being provocative and being comical, though still keeping away from being vulgar,” admits director and writer Charles Ancelle (France).

“Different nationalities’ perspectives and cultural differences made it possible for us to see the same action from different angles. We even have added some on-the spot jokes to the script,” adds Adrian M. Ramos (Spain), series editor.

“We are excited that globalization makes is possible for filmmakers from different countries with different cultures, background, experience and sense of humor to get together to make a series where everyone contributes the best practices as well as uniqueness of their home countries,” says series producer Anna Skrypka (Ukraine).

On February 11, 2016, the 1st episode will be released on the “Behind the Blinds” channel, with the remaining seven episodes of the 1st season playing on YouTube Thursdays over the next two months. Viewers are encouraged to subscribe to the channel to help make further seasons of the series possible.

Sponsors supporting the series premiere include world-famous lager Stella Artois and “America's Top Hot Dog”, Pink’s.
