Ultimate Medical Academy Launches Mobile App
TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) November 15, 2017 -- Alumni from Ultimate Medical Academy, a nonprofit healthcare educational institution with a national presence, can now stay connected and receive current networking and job tip information through the nonprofit institution's new mobile app, ConnectUMA, which builds on the private alumni online networking platform the school has offered since 2016.
"Providing our alumni with a mobile tool that enables them to stay connected on-the-go is one more step we're taking to fulfill our mission to equip and empower our students to excel in healthcare careers," said Rustam Irani, acting vice president of Marketing. The ConnectUMA app provides alumni with access on their phones or tablets to never miss a connection or update. Like Ultimate Medical Academy’s award winning ConnectUMA online platform, the app, which is available on iOS and Android, has several notable user features. Ultimate Medical Academy alumni can access an alumni directory for networking, a jobs board, mentorship opportunities, relevant tips, and more.
In addition to ConnectUMA, Ultimate Medical Academy engages its alumni by providing financial coaching, career services for training and practice, and résumé tips. Each quarter, the school selects a True Blue Alum featured in a newsletter and press release. This honor spotlights an outstanding alumnus who is serving their community, excelling in their career and accomplishing other noteworthy achievements.
Since launching ConnectUMA to further the school’s vision of supporting strong student outcomes, more than 2,900 UMA alumni have joined the private online community to receive institutional support, network with peers, obtain professional development and more.
Earlier this year, Ultimate Medical Academy received the Best Performing Professional School Graduway Award for ConnectUMA.
